Course Overview

This course introduces students to the fundamental essentials of research methodology and statistics designed specifically for beginners in research in management and social sciences. It emphasizes the understanding and application of statistical tools and research techniques necessary for conducting scientific investigations across disciplines. It also provides the knowledge on use of SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences), including data entry and analysis. The course guides students through the research process—from identifying a problem to designing studies, collecting and analysing data, and interpreting results. By integrating conceptual understanding with practical skills, students will gain confidence in critically assessing research and conducting their own studies ethically and effectively.
